On the 25th (local time), Sahara AI stated via its official channel, "We are unveiling the native token SAHARA, which supports all interactions throughout the ecosystem. SAHARA will be utilized for utilities such as access licenses for essential datasets for AI model training, securing usage rights for existing models, obtaining computing resources, and paying on-chain gas fees."

The token distribution plan was also announced. 64.25% of the total supply will be distributed to the community, of which 8.15% is allocated for airdrop. 15.00% will be distributed to core contributors, and 19.75% will be given to early supporters.
