According to GlobeNewswire on the 25th (local time), ProCapBTC announced in a press release that "1,208 Bitcoins were purchased at $105,977 each," adding that "the company currently holds 4,932 Bitcoins." They continued, "We will continue to purchase more Bitcoin," stating, "Once the corporate merger is completed, the company is expected to hold up to $1 billion worth of Bitcoin."
ProCapBTC, which is about to merge with NASDAQ-listed Columbus Circle Capital, also purchased 3,274 BTC the previous day.
