According to CoinGlass data on the 1st (local time), the virtual asset market saw a total of $199.87 million in futures positions liquidated over the past 24 hours. As Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $107,000, there were more long position liquidations in the market. Specifically, $120.67 million worth of long positions were liquidated, while short (sell) position liquidations totaled $79.21 million.
Ethereum (ETH) recorded the largest liquidation volume. Ethereum saw $45.04 million in positions liquidated over 24 hours, with $23.59 million in long positions and $21.45 million in short positions liquidated. Bitcoin ranked second for the same period, with $34.2 million in positions liquidated, including $25.38 million in long and $8.82 million in short positions.
As of 6:32 p.m., according to Binance USDT market, Bitcoin and Ethereum are down by 0.96% and 0.74%, trading at $106,639 and $2,455, respectively.
