According to Bloomberg News on the 1st (local time), the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) ordered the cryptocurrency trading platform Swissquote to enhance its security measures to prevent phishing and impersonation crimes.

The report stated, "In the first half of this year alone, more than 600 websites impersonating Swissquote or using fake login pages have been found."

FINMA emphasized, "Swissquote's cryptocurrency trading app 'Yuh' has become a major target for scammers," adding, "Security measures must be reinforced to reduce such fraud attempts."

Swissquote CEO Marc Buerki said, "Fraud attempts targeting our systems have surged recently due to advances in artificial intelligence (AI) technology," but added, "So far, there has been no actual damage to our internal systems."
