On the 2nd (local time), Genius Group announced on its website, "With an additional purchase of 20 BTC, our total holdings have reached 120 BTC," and stated, "The average purchase price per BTC is $101,539." The company added, "Since May 22 of this year, our Bitcoin holdings have doubled in just one month," and said, "We plan to hold a total of 1,000 Bitcoins within the next six months."
Previously, Genius Group had been ordered by a U.S. court in April to suspend Bitcoin purchases, but resumed buying from May.
