The Switzerland-based cryptocurrency bank Amina (AMINA) is supporting transactions of the stablecoin RLUSD issued by Ripple, the issuer of XRP.
According to CoinDesk on the 3rd (local time), Amina launched its RLUSD trading support service on this day. RLUSD is a dollar-backed stablecoin recently launched by Ripple. Amina is the first in the banking sector to provide RLUSD trading support.
Amina initially plans to support RLUSD trading and custody services. The service targets institutions and professional investors. Amina stated, "In the coming months, we will expand services utilizing RLUSD."
Meanwhile, the supply of RLUSD stands at about $430 million, regulated and overseen by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) in the U.S.
