-
Applicable Markets: STRIKE/KRW, STRIKE/BTC
-
Reasons for Designation
-
In accordance with best practices for supporting virtual asset trading, Upbit has confirmed that, for STRIKE, there are multiple concerns due to the issuing entity or operating entity failing to disclose important items about the asset in a timely and proper manner through appropriate electronic means of transmission, or lacking explanatory documents (whitepaper) about key items. It was also noted that the degree of disclosure and the substance and sustainability of the business related to the virtual asset were lacking, which may lead to potential investor harm. Therefore, to protect investors, Upbit is designating STRIKE as a cautionary trading asset.
-
Designation Period: July 4, 2025 (Fri) 16:00 KST \~ July 21, 2025 (Mon) 23:59 KST
[Next Steps After Cautionary Trading Asset Designation]
-
Once designated as a cautionary trading asset, Upbit will generally conduct a detailed review of the asset to determine whether to extend the designation, release it, or ultimately terminate trading support.
-
After the designation, Upbit will review the reasons in accordance with the [Digital Asset Trading Support Termination Policy](https://static.upbit.com/guide/market_policy_close.pdf).
-
The period of designation review may be extended, and if the reasons for designation are not fully resolved, termination of trading support may be decided.
-
If the review period is extended or trading support is to be terminated, separate announcements will be provided, including exact schedules.
-
From the time of this announcement, all deposits for the designated asset will not be processed, and all deposit attempts will be subject to return.
-
Upbit’s designation of cautionary trading assets and termination of trading support are based on the [Digital Asset Trading Support Termination Policy](https://static.upbit.com/guide/market_policy_close.pdf).

Notice on Deposit Resumption: Will be announced according to the subsequent steps after the cautionary trading asset designation
[Important Notes on Deposits]
-
After the suspension point, if you deposit STRIKE, it may not be credited to your Upbit account, and in such cases, recovery may not be possible. Please do not deposit after the suspension time. During the suspension period, deposit returns for the asset will be temporarily paused and will be processed sequentially after deposits resume.
-
If a deposit disruption occurs, delays in deposit processing are possible due to network congestion. There may be a difference between the blockchain network transaction confirmation time and the time your deposit is credited.

Some deposits to blockchains may occur before or after the suspension time, but depending on the processing status of our wallet system, normal processing is not possible during inspection periods. Deposits will be processed sequentially and may be delayed after inspection is complete.
-
In the event of unscheduled wallet or network checks, some deposits may occur before or after announcements, but normal processing will not be possible during the inspection period depending on our wallet system. After completion, they will be processed sequentially, and credit to member accounts may be delayed.
-
If anything unusual arises regarding deposit resumption, we will inform you through this notice.
Upbit will always do its utmost to ensure safe trading for its members.
Thank you.
