According to The Washington Post on the 7th (local time), Caroline Leavitt, Press Secretary of the White House, stated, "Separate from the suspension of tariff implementation, a presidential letter outlining plans to apply new Reciprocal Tariffs will be sent to 12 countries," adding, "Additional letters will also be delivered sequentially in the coming days."
She continued, "Negotiations with those countries are ongoing, and positive progress is being made."
