According to IP data from KIPRIS on the 9th, Wemade has registered three trademarks—including KRWWMX and WEKRW—while DSRV has registered nine trademarks such as DKRW, SKRW, and KRWON.
T Scientific, a mobile commerce software company with stake in Bithumb, has also reportedly applied for four types of stablecoin trademarks, including KRWSW.
As interest in KRW stablecoins is rising, companies across banking, securities, fintech, and gaming are rushing to apply for KRW stablecoin trademarks.
