An analysis has found that the Bitcoin (BTC) holdings of major virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchanges have decreased by about 360,000 so far this year.

On the 11th, on-chain analyst 'Ai' stated on X (formerly Twitter), "Currently, centralized exchanges (CEX) hold about 2.4 million Bitcoins, which is approximately 360,000 fewer than at the beginning of the year."

He explained, "This shows that the amount of Bitcoin held by retail investors is gradually decreasing."
