Choi Hui-yeong, who has been nominated as Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, has resigned from his CEO position at Nol Universe.
According to Nol Universe on the 15th, Choi tendered his resignation to the company the previous day, and his departure has now been finalized. As a result, Nol Universe will be led solely by CEO Bae Bo-chan, who had previously served as co-CEO with Choi, at least for the foreseeable future.
Choi Hui-yeong is a former journalist at Yonhap News Agency and YTN, and has previously served as CEO of NHN, Interpark Triple, and Nol Universe.
Starting the previous day, Choi began reporting to the confirmation hearing preparation office in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to focus on preparing for the hearing.
