World, a human-centric identity and financial network, announced the progress of its three-part 'Real K-Pop' campaign featuring collaborations with K-Pop artists on the 18th.
This campaign officially kicked off in June with H1-KEY, and was further expanded on the 11th with the announcement of a second artist collaboration. The final artist, KARD, is set to join the campaign on the 22nd.
Fans can access exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and unreleased content for each artist through World’s digital identity verification service, 'World ID'. This aims to provide fans with new ways to engage with artists beyond conventional interactions.
World ID has recently surpassed 100 million cumulative uses through third-party applications, marking a significant achievement in the popularization of digital identity verification technology. Its applications are also expanding into various industries, most recently through a partnership with the global gaming company Razer.
Park Sang-uk, Head of Tools for Humanity Korea, stated, "We are very pleased to offer a differentiated experience to fans by collaborating with domestic artists," adding, "This campaign is an excellent example of how World ID can deepen communication between fans and artists and enhance access to premium content."
