Upbit's youth education program 'Duniverse' surpasses 27,000 cumulative participants

The cryptocurrency exchange operator Upbit, Dunamu, announced on the 21st that the cumulative number of participants in 'Duniverse' has surpassed 27,000.
Duniverse is an educational program designed to enhance youth understanding of digital finance and contribute to talent development. It was jointly developed by Dunamu and a youth economic education specialist company, and reviewed by professors from the Korea Institute of Finance. The cumulative number of participants in Duniverse was counted at 27,216 as of July 2025.
Meanwhile, on the 19th, Dunamu also held the youth digital finance and technology education festival 'Duniverse Festa'. This Duniverse Festa saw participation from about 50 pre-registered middle and high school students from the Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Chungcheong, and Busan regions. The event took place on the metaverse platform zep (zep).
A variety of programs were prepared for the event to educate participants on digital finance and technology concepts, such as quizzes and games. Specifically, there were escape room-style mission games and OX quizzes based on knowledge of digital finance, blockchain, and AI, as well as awards for excellent participants and a lucky draw event.
In addition, Dunamu employees working in fields such as service planning and anti-money laundering provided job mentoring. Various Dunamu professionals will participate in mentoring at future Duniverse Festa events.
An Upbit representative said, "Finance is a field closely connected to society, making it important to take interest from adolescence," and added, "We will continue to support youth so that they can encounter and understand the concept of digital finance early on."
