Over the past 24 hours, the perpetual futures market for cryptocurrencies has recorded a liquidation volume of $379.14 million.
According to CoinGlass data on the 21st (local time), a total of $379.14 million worth of futures positions were liquidated in the virtual asset market over the past 24 hours. The market saw a higher number of liquidations for short (sell) positions. Specifically, $160.88 million worth of long positions were liquidated, while $218.25 million worth of short positions were closed.
Ethereum accounted for the largest liquidation amount. Over 24 hours, $133.79 million worth of Ethereum positions were liquidated—of which $49.76 million were from long positions and $84.03 million from short positions. Bitcoin (BTC) ranked second during the same period, with $48.43 million liquidated. For Bitcoin, $23.98 million from long positions and $24.45 million from short positions were closed.
As of 3:45 p.m., based on Binance USDT market prices, Bitcoin and Ethereum are trading at $119,082 and $3,787, respectively, up 1.05% and 3.61% from 24 hours ago.
