Korbit, a domestic virtual asset exchange, announced on the 23rd that it has officially joined the 'Alliance Program' of Circle, the issuer of the dollar-based stablecoin USDC.
The Circle Alliance Program is a global community launched in November 2023 with the goal of expanding USDC adoption and activating the on-chain economy. Companies from various sectors, including fintech, traditional finance, and Web3, gather to exchange technology and collaborate.
Through this partnership, Korbit will participate in the global stablecoin infrastructure centered around USDC. In addition, it plans to further strengthen its service competitiveness related to stablecoins.
Jungwoo Lee, Korbit's Chief Technology Officer and Chief Privacy Officer (CTO・CPO), said, "Joining the Circle Alliance means Korbit is directly connected to the global digital financial order," adding, "We look forward to achieving continuous innovation based on Circle's stablecoin-based infrastructure."
