According to The Block, a cryptocurrency-focused media outlet, on the 25th (local time), The Smarter Web Company (SWC), a UK-based web design firm and a company focusing on Bitcoin (BTC) financial strategy, announced it had acquired an additional 225 BTC.
The scale of this acquisition is approximately $26.4 million, with an average unit price of $118,076 per BTC.
As a result, SWC's total holdings amount to 1825BTC, ranking it 26th among companies worldwide in terms of BTC holdings. The cumulative average purchase price is recorded at $109,088 per BTC.
SWC currently holds about $1.3 million in cash, which could be used for future BTC acquisitions.
Andrew Webley, CEO of SWC, emphasized, "We believe BTC is the greatest asset in history and are utilizing it as a financial vehicle to preserve future business funds."
Previously, SWC announced plans to continue acquiring BTC as part of its corporate financial strategy over the next 10 years.
