On the 28th (local time), economic news account Walter Bloomberg reported that the first day of the high-level U.S.-China trade negotiations held in Stockholm, Sweden, had concluded.

Attendees at the talks included U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Jamieson Greer, and He Lifeng, Vice Premier of the State Council of China.

This round of talks is the third high-level negotiation following those held in Geneva, Switzerland on May 10–11, and in London, United Kingdom on June 9–10.

In particular, if the high tariff suspension period is extended by another 3 months, the 'tariff truce' between the two countries is highly likely to continue until November.
