President Trump said, "I just received a call from Scott Vessent, the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury," adding, "He reported that the meeting with China went very well and stated that he would brief me tomorrow on the results."
He continued, "A decision on whether to approve the tariff deferral on China has not been made yet," and added, "Vessent said he felt much more positive about today's meeting compared to yesterday."
