U.S.-based cryptocurrency asset management firm Grayscale has introduced a Story (IP)-based investment product.
According to CoinDesk on the 31st (local time), Grayscale launched the 'Grayscale Story Trust,' an institutional investment product based on Story, on this day. CoinDesk reported, "Grayscale Story Trust is a new investment vehicle offering exposure to Story," and added, "(This product) focuses exclusively on Story, the native token of the Story Network."
Story is a Web3 intellectual property (IP) project co-founded by Seung-yoon Lee, who previously established the web novel platform Rachish and sold it to Kakao for 500 billion KRW in 2021. CoinDesk noted, "Story has already secured over 1.7 million IP-related transactions and more than 200,000 monthly active users."
The price of Story has been on an upward trend this month. As of 10:15 p.m. on the day, Story was trading at $6.19 on CoinMarketCap, up 7.09% from the previous day. Compared to a month ago, this represents a surge of 115.62%.
