French-listed company Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI) has set out to increase its Bitcoin (BTC) holdings. Over the past three months, it purchased an additional 21.52 BTC, bringing its total holdings to 25.07 BTC.

According to the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) channel NLNiko on the 1st, CBI has signed a strategic agreement with SAFEbit and plans to secure up to 2,000 BTC (worth approximately €200 million) in the future. This agreement will be executed not with cash, but by exchanging company shares at a discounted price.

CBI has reportedly been expanding its Bitcoin treasury (corporate financial assets) since the recent quarter. This deal is interpreted as part of a large-scale acquisition strategy.
