India has emerged as one of the main importers of Russian oil after Russia's oil trade with Europe was cut off due to the war in Ukraine.

Earlier, President Trump criticized on his social media platform 'Truth Social,' saying, 'India is making massive profits by buying up Russian crude oil in large quantities and reselling it on the market.'

He continued, 'They do not care how many people have lost their lives in Ukraine due to Russia's war machine,' adding, 'For this reason, I will significantly raise tariffs on India.'
