When asked about the possibility of extending the suspension period for tariffs imposed on China, Secretary Lutnick said, "I believe so," and added, "There is a strong possibility that both sides will reach an agreement and move toward an additional 90-day extension."
Regarding the possibility of additional retaliatory tariffs by the U.S. in response to China's imports of Russian crude oil, Lutnick stated, "All options are on the table."
He further emphasized, "President Trump, as a mediator leading world peace and a creator of opportunities for America, will use all the tools at his disposal," and stressed, "No possibility has been excluded."
