The operator of the digital asset wallet D'CENT, IoTrust, announced on the 11th that it has introduced a 'real-time threat detection' feature through technical integration with the global security company Blockaid. This function detects and secures potential risks before users transfer coins or use external services.

The real-time threat detection feature works by automatically identifying and alerting users to various threats—such as phishing attacks, spam tokens, and malicious app connections—the moment a wallet address is entered or a signature attempt is made. It operates without any separate setup, and if a risk is detected, users receive a warning before signing, allowing them to halt execution and reduce mistakes or losses effectively.

When a user copies and pastes a wallet address to send coins to someone, D'CENT automatically checks whether the address is associated with phishing or fraud, and if an issue is detected, it instantly displays a warning to the user.

Blockaid is utilized across major global exchanges and services, including Coinbase, Kraken, and OpenSea, and has established itself as a global standard in transaction security infrastructure. Through this integration, D'CENT also meets global security standards and further strengthens user protection with its hardware-based security features.

D'CENT is designed as a wallet centered on hardware-based biometric authentication security, and since its founding has prioritized 'security' as its most important value. While storing assets is a given, D'CENT has expanded the scope of security to include proactively detecting and blocking threats.

An IoTrust representative emphasized, "The role of a wallet should not just be a container for assets, but a shield protecting users from risks. Through this integration with Blockaid, D'CENT will go beyond simple storage by adding real-time detection functions to hardware security, moving toward active protection."
