Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund's Indirect Bitcoin Holdings Reach 7,161, All-Time High

The world's largest sovereign wealth fund, the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global, has reached a record high in its indirect Bitcoin (BTC) holdings.
According to cryptocurrency analytics firm K33 Research, as of the end of June this year, the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global's indirect Bitcoin holdings totaled 7,161. This represents a nearly 192% surge compared to a year ago (2,446), marking an all-time high.
At the end of last year, the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global's indirect Bitcoin holdings stood at just 3,821. In just the past six months, the indirect holdings have increased by more than 3,300. K33 Research stated, "This demonstrates that Bitcoin is naturally being incorporated into well-diversified portfolios."
