According to Walter Bloomberg, an overseas economic news channel, on the 14th (local time), President Trump said in a Fox News Radio interview, "Putin is trying to close a deal," adding, "The war in Ukraine is probably the hardest war to stop." However, he predicted, "It will be difficult to achieve an immediate ceasefire."

He also emphasized that economic incentives and sanctions could be powerful tools in the talks, but he avoided commenting on the specific incentives. Regarding whether a joint press conference would be held, he stated, "I don't know yet," revealing a cautious attitude.

Meanwhile, the Russian Kremlin announced, "There are no plans to sign an agreement at this U.S.-Russia summit," and warned that "it would be a big mistake to predict the results of the high-level negotiations."
