On the 16th, the cryptocurrency-focused media outlet CoinGabber, citing the on-chain analytics platform Onchain Lens, reported, "A wallet linked to WLFI recently used USDC worth about $18.6 million to purchase ETH and WBTC."
According to the outlet, World Liberty Financial recently acquired 1,911 ETH (approximately $8.6 million) at an average price of $4,500 per token, and simultaneously accumulated 84.5 WBTC (about $10 million) at $118,343 each.
Currently, WLFI holds a total of 73,616 ETH (approximately $275.9 million), which accounts for 65.6% of its overall portfolio.
The outlet added, "This recent acquisition of ETH and WBTC is also seen as part of a strategy to strengthen (the project's) liquidity and stability."
