Dunamu, the operator of the cryptocurrency exchange platform Upbit, announced on the 19th that a hole-in-one event will be held at the 16th hole (PAR3) during the 'BC Card·The Korea Economic Daily Ladies Cup 2025,' one of the largest prize-money tournaments in Korea.

In this event, the first player to make a hole-in-one at the 16th hole during the tournament will be awarded 1 Bitcoin (BTC). The total prize money for this tournament, held over four days starting from the 21st, is ₩1.5 billion, which is an increase of ₩100 million from last year. In terms of prize money alone, this is the largest on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) tour.

Upbit plans to use this event as an opportunity to expand partnerships in sports and other fields.
