Over the past 24 hours, the notional value of position liquidations in the cryptocurrency perpetual futures market reached $323.99 million.

According to CoinGlass data on the 19th (local time), a total of $323.99 million worth of futures positions were liquidated in the cryptocurrency market in the past 24 hours. As major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) declined, long (buy) position liquidations were predominant. Specifically, $229.63 million in long positions were liquidated, while short (sell) positions saw $94.36 million in liquidations.

Ethereum recorded the largest liquidation amount among the assets, with $133 million worth of positions liquidated over 24 hours. Of this amount, long positions were liquidated for $81.31 million, and short positions for $51.69 million. Bitcoin ranked second during the same period with $57.79 million in liquidations. The long and short position liquidations amounted to $44.40 million and $13.40 million, respectively.

As of 3:50 PM, based on the Binance USDT market, Bitcoin and Ethereum are trading at $114,931 and $4,233 respectively, both down 0.19% and 0.41% over the past 24 hours.
