On the 19th (local time), Cointelegraph reported, "BlackRock currently holds approximately 662,500 BTC, which accounts for more than 3% of the total Bitcoin supply," adding, "This is a figure that surpasses strategies and is close to the 1.1 million BTC reportedly held by Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin."
It continued, "If inflows continue at the current pace, IBIT could eventually become the largest holder of Bitcoin," and projected, "This would bring significant changes to the supply structure and the centralization of Bitcoin ownership."
