According to Eleanor Terrett, host of Crypto in America, on the 19th (local time), the state of Wyoming in the United States has issued the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT). This marks the first stablecoin issuance by a U.S. state government.
FRNT is backed by U.S. dollars and short-term government bonds, and is issued on Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Arbitrum (ARB), Polygon (POL), Avalanche (AVAX), Optimism (OP), and Base (BASE). However, due to regulatory issues, it has not yet been made available to the public.
