On the 19th (local time), Cointelegraph, citing data from Dune Analytics, reported that last year the trading volume of virtual assets on centralized exchanges (CEX) in Latin America reached $27 billion, a ninefold increase compared to 2021 ($3 billion).
In particular, the exchange Bitso dominated the Latin American market. Last year, Bitso recorded trades exceeding $25.2 billion, achieving a 93% market share among exchanges.
