Over the past 24 hours, liquidation volume in the perpetual cryptocurrency futures market reached $446.12 million.

According to CoinGlass data on the 20th (local time), a total of $446.12 million in futures positions were liquidated in the crypto market over the past 24 hours. With major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) on the decline, most of the liquidations involved long (buy) positions. Specifically, $362.71 million in long positions and $83.41 million in short (sell) positions were liquidated.

Ethereum recorded the largest liquidation volume. Over the 24-hour period, Ethereum saw $178.06 million in positions liquidated, including $127.86 million in longs and $50.20 million in shorts. Bitcoin ranked second during the same period with $101.25 million liquidated. The size of long and short position liquidations were $95.71 million and $5.54 million, respectively.

As of 5:28 PM, based on the Binance USDT market, Bitcoin and Ethereum were trading at $113,854 and $4,227, down 1.04% and 0.19% compared to 24 hours ago.
