Key policy figures from the Donald Trump U.S. administration, heads of global regulatory agencies, and senior executives from Tether and Circle, the leading issuers in the global stablecoin market, will gather in Seoul this September.

The global private blockchain conference 'Eastpoint: Seoul 2025' (hereafter Eastpoint) on the 25th unveiled its second roster of speakers and participating organizations. The event is co-hosted by Hashed, Bloomingbit (a blockchain media under the Hankyung Media Group), and the Korea Economic Daily, and will be held on September 22 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Whereas the first lineup announced last month centered on domestic political and financial institutions — including three political parties such as the Democratic Party, the People Power Party, and the Reform New Party, and four major commercial banks Kookmin, Shinhan, Hana, and Woori, as well as traditional financial firms and large venture capital — the second lineup is led by key figures from the Trump administration, global regulatory bodies, and major global Web3 players such as Tether and Circle.

The highlight of this lineup is the core policy team from the Trump administration. Harry Jung, White House Deputy Director, and Bo Hines, Tether's U.S. Strategic Advisor (and former White House crypto advisory chair), will hold an in-depth panel discussion on 'Global Policy Environment Shifts and National Strategy,' examining the direction of U.S. policy and changes in the global regulatory landscape.

Caroline D. Pham, Acting Chair of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will also take the stage to present 'A Practical Approach to Global Crypto Regulation in a Fragmented World: Institutional Preparedness,' directly outlining regulatory environments in various countries and institutional response strategies. This is expected to be an opportunity to gauge global policy shifts in one place.

Tether and Circle, issuers that dominate the global stablecoin market and have emerged as major forces in global finance, will also attend in person to present their future strategies.

Tether, issuer of the world's top stablecoin by market share 'USDT,' will share strategies to expand real-world use through the session 'Programmable Payments: Integrating Stablecoins into Everyday Payments.' Circle will participate in a panel on 'Institutional Investment Products: Crypto ETFs, Tokenized Assets, Stablecoins,' focusing on stablecoin use for institutional investors and global expansion strategies. Circle, issuer of the stablecoin 'USDC,' has drawn attention as a blueprint for crypto IPOs after its Nasdaq listing saw its stock price surge 200%.

Notably, one of the industry's most watched programs, the 'Roundtable Session,' will be held privately. Policy leaders from various countries, global blockchain founders, and senior executives from traditional financial institutions will gather in groups of 5–6 to engage in in-depth discussions based on shared interests. Held in dedicated meeting rooms separate from the public sessions, all participants will act as discussants rather than presenters. The organizers said, "Because the roundtables are structured without observers, candid and strategic conversations are possible," and added, "They will become a unique platform to foster global collaboration in the Web3 industry."

As event sponsors, major blockchain infrastructure companies including Sui, Solana, Aptos, Avalanche, LayerZero, Ripple, and Chainlink will participate in large numbers. In addition, next-generation finance and technology companies such as Anchorage Digital, EigenCloud, Caladan, Digital Asset Holdings, Kite AI, Magic Newton, BitMEX, A41, and Pudgy Penguins will also join. Tether and Circle will also participate as sponsors to share the latest technologies and strategies and explore cooperation with the global blockchain ecosystem.

Kim Seo-joon, CEO of Hashed, said, "We are currently at a historic inflection point where blockchain technology and digital assets are poised for widespread public adoption, and technology, finance, culture, and politics are converging," adding, "I hope Eastpoint will be a starting point that presents a shift in the new digital finance paradigm this era urgently needs, beyond a mere communication space for Web3 leaders."

Kim Sanha, CEO of Bloomingbit, said, "Eastpoint focuses on 'real conversations behind closed doors' rather than 'speeches on stage,'" adding, "This event will serve as a strategic forum where stakeholders facing complex interests among policy, capital, and technology due to the rapid rise of blockchain technology and digital assets seek joint solutions. Through this, we expect Korea to become a symbolic center of global digital finance strategy."
