According to a report from Decrypt, a media outlet specializing in virtual assets (cryptocurrency), on the 27th (local time), Howard Lutnick stated, "As part of the Trump Administration's virtual asset industry policy, there are plans to build a 'blockchain' economic data infrastructure."

Secretary Lutnick explained, "We plan to utilize blockchain for the distribution of economic data such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and this initiative will soon be expanded to all government agencies."
