On the 29th (local time), Binance said on its official X (formerly Twitter), "An issue affecting UM(USDⓈ-Margined) futures trading has occurred," adding, "Currently all futures trading is temporarily suspended."
It added, "A dedicated team has immediately taken action to resolve the issue," and "new updates will be shared through official channels."
Meanwhile, from 15:39 on the day, Binance's futures prices appeared to be displayed normally. Crypto-focused media Odaily reported that "Binance futures trading may have already resumed."
