Art Token announced on the 2nd that Hwang In-ran's solo exhibition last year, 'Noon's Abyss: Beatrice of Silence', has led, beyond the achievements of the works, to the fruits of sharing.

Previously, in October last year, Hwang In-ran presented non-fungible token (NFT) video works and a digital projection mapping photo zone at Art Cube 2R2, offering a new sensibility that combined digital and painting. Part of the exhibition proceeds, ₩4,000,000, was donated to Zimbabwe, and in early August this year the installation of a solar power generation system and an LED cross on site was completed.

Through this donation, village residents secured a stable power environment, and the living conditions of the local community are expected to improve further. The project is regarded as an example showing that art can expand into social value and responsibility beyond simple sponsorship.

Hong Ji-suk, CEO of Art Cube 2R2, said, "Through this exhibition it is very meaningful that art can lead to a socially meaningful contribution beyond mere appreciation," and added, "We will continue to carry out projects that fuse culture and social value in cooperation with artists who share our intentions."

Meanwhile, Art Cube 2R2 plans to continue social contribution activities involving galleries, artists, and collectors, and to expand broader empathy and solidarity through art.
