Bithumb apologized for the inconvenience to users, saying the service was suspended from 11:30 p.m. that day for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The damages caused by this emergency inspection will be fully compensated, and submitted applications will be reviewed sequentially with the compensation procedures promptly announced.
Compensation applications can be submitted via the website's customer support board, email, or customer center, and the application period is from September 3 to October 2. Bithumb said it will do its best to prevent recurrence.
