Tempo is a project introduced after Stripe acquired stablecoin infrastructure firm Bridge for $1.1 billion in October 2025, and it was designed as a blockchain specialized for payments and financial transactions.
Stripe said it will provide fast and secure digital payment experiences through Tempo and plans to expand stablecoin and DeFi (DeFi) integration features in the future.
