On the 5th (local time), crypto-focused media Decrypt reported that NASDAQ-listed company and Ethereum (ETH) strategic investment firm SharpLink Gaming (SBET) said it plans to stake some of its ETH holdings once ConsenSys's Layer 2 network Linea mainnet launches.
SharpLink co-CEO Joseph Chalom told the outlet in an interview, "We are currently staking most of our ETH with Anchorage and Coinbase," and explained, "We plan to diversify staking methods in the future for higher returns."
Meanwhile, ConsenSys, which developed Linea, is led by Ethereum co-founder and SharpLink chairman Joseph Lubin.
