Bithumb targets Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang customers with 'Bitcoin mining' popup booth

Domestic virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchange Bithumb announced on the 9th that it is participating in the 'Grand Anniversary' event commemorating the 12th anniversary of the opening of the Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlet and will operate an offline popup booth until the 14th.

This popup, expanded to the Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang areas following the Siheung and Paju branches, is intended to establish the company's first offline touchpoint with local customers and strengthen brand experience.

The popup booth was installed in the Busan Premium Outlet's 'South Taste Village.' In the unique space designed with a 'Bitcoin mining' concept, various events will be held, including ▲ a 'popcorn draw' that can be entered by verifying an outlet receipt and ▲ benefits worth a total of 70,000 won for new sign-ups, including a 20,000 won welcome mission for new customers.

Bithumb's offline popup is also receiving attention online. Previously, a Reel on Shinsegae Simon Outlet's official Instagram featuring footage from the Paju popup was posted under the title 'The story of going to spend money and ending up making money' and recorded over 1.75 million views.

A Bithumb official said, "It is meaningful in that it is an opportunity to communicate directly with customers in Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang," adding, "We will continue to strive to enable customers to experience virtual assets in their daily lives through various touchpoints."
