On the 9th (local time), the U.S. Department of Justice filed for forfeiture of more than $5 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) seized in a SIM Swapping scam.

SIM Swapping is an attack technique in which an attacker steals or alters SIM information to intercept a target's communications.
