Gould said that as early work after taking office he has focused on resolving bank debanking issues, repealing licensing requirements that are anti-crypto in nature, and preparing new stablecoin regulations.
He emphasized, "Debanking is a problem that is actually occurring," and added, "The era in which the OCC hesitated to allow banks to participate in crypto business is over."
