Global asset manager BlackRock bought $1 billion (about 1.4 trillion won) worth of Bitcoin(BTC) this week.

On-chain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence said on the 14th (local time) via its official X account, "BlackRock bought more than $1 billion worth of Bitcoin this week," and "institutional investors are buying Bitcoin," it said.

Spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are also continuing their streak of net inflows. According to SoSoValue, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded five consecutive trading days of net inflows as of the 12th. In the case of BlackRock's IBIT, $260 million (about 360 billion won) flowed in on the 12th alone.
