- It said this situation is expected to lead to withdrawal delays for short-term staking users and increased network traffic.

On the 16th (local time), according to CoinDesk, a media specializing in crypto assets (cryptocurrencies), last Monday Ethereum (ETH) unstaking waiting time increased to over 46 days, setting the longest record in short-term staking history.
The previous record was August 18. Currently about 2.5 million ETH (about $11.25 billion) are queued for exit. The main reason for the sharp increase in waiting time is the September 9 incident involving major staking platform Kiln. Kiln, in the aftermath of the SwissBorg incident exposed to an exploit (vulnerability attack), sequentially suspended validator activity on the network, causing about 1.6 million ETH to join the queue at once.
This record is expected to directly lead to withdrawal delays for short-term staking users and increased network traffic.
