On the 17th (local time), the Financial Times reported that U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and UK Prime Minister Rachel Reeves discussed ways to cooperate to strengthen supervision of the virtual asset industry. The meeting was reported to have been attended not only by industry representatives such as Ripple and Coinbase but also major financial firms such as Bank of America, Barclays, and Citibank.

Kasey Craddock, Executive Director of Ripple, said, "Strengthening cooperation between the United States and the United Kingdom will greatly contribute to drawing out the full potential of blockchain technology in both countries."
