According to CoinGlass data on the 18th (local time), $399.84 million worth of futures positions were liquidated in the virtual asset market over the past 24 hours. Specifically, long positions totaling $171.62 million were liquidated, and short positions totaling $228.22 million were liquidated.
The asset with the largest liquidation amount was Ethereum (ETH). Ethereum saw $115.08 million of positions liquidated over 24 hours, of which long and short positions accounted for $67.67 million and $47.41 million, respectively. Second place went to Bitcoin (BTC). During the same period, Bitcoin saw $110.77 million liquidated, with long positions at $32.69 million and short positions at $78.08 million.
