CZ "Giggle Academy raised $1 million… no plans to issue tokens"

The education project Giggle Academy run by Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao raised $1 million within 12 hours of launching its donation service.

On the 22nd (local time), Changpeng Zhao said on X(Formerly Twitter), "Giggle Academy's donation service raised $1 million within 12 hours," adding, "We will use these donations to accelerate industry growth." He also added, "90% of the donations came from meme coins," and, "Perceptions of meme coins have changed."

However, he drew a line on the possibility of issuing tokens. Changpeng Zhao emphasized, "Giggle Academy has no plans to issue tokens," adding, "We do not want to complicate a free education platform with tokenomics."
