On the 22nd (local time), the UXLINK team said on its official X (formerly Twitter) that a security incident related to a multisignature wallet had occurred, and as a result a substantial amount of virtual assets (cryptocurrencies) had been transferred to exchanges.
The team said it is cooperating with internal and external security experts and has asked major exchanges to freeze suspicious UXLINK deposits. They added that they had reported the incident to the police.
Earlier, crypto security alert platform CyberAlert warned of suspicious transactions amounting to about $11.3 million. Currently UXLINK is down about 40% on Upbit.
