Han Jeong-ae, chair of the Policy Committee of the Democratic Party, announced on the 25th regarding the Lee Jae-myung government's reorganization plan that "the content to reorganize the Financial Services Commission into the Financial Supervisory Commission, and the plan to transfer domestic finance-related functions that the Financial Services Commission currently has to the Ministry of Finance and Economy, will be returned to their original positions."
