Korean Web3 venture capital (VC) firm Aegis Ventures announced on the 29th that it held a networking event on the 23rd at Seoul Pizza Hill in Gwangjin District, Seoul.

The event was co-hosted by Aegis Ventures, U.S. VC Draper Dragon, and domestic Bitcoin (BTC) investment firm Parataxis Korea. Representatives from global companies and VCs that have adopted digital asset financial strategies (DAT) attended the event.

Specifically, discussions at the event covered DAT operation strategies, the latest cryptocurrency investment trends, and the potential for institutional collaboration. According to Aegis Ventures, VCs in particular sought opportunities at the event to identify DAT-adopting companies with strong growth potential. One participant said, "The greatest benefit was directly communicating with global VCs and sharing investment strategies and trends."

Aegis Ventures plans to continue organizing such events next year. An Aegis Ventures representative said, "Participants explored ways to foster the development of the Web3 ecosystem and build trust among institutional investors in a casual setting," adding, "These gatherings will serve as a catalyst for substantive cooperation in the digital asset market."
